which slipper springs can I use?

Hi all

Buggy purists look away now, MT users keep reading.

Right, my LST-e is running an MGT slipper spring to cope with bl/lipo as the oe losi Item is utter tosh, but while still superior, it's not unfallable, and hence I need a new one, but they appear in short supply.

So I'm asking if anyone knows of other beefy slipper springs I can use from other models that might be in far more plentyful supply. Must fit on an M4 shaft.

Ta guys.

Don't worry

I posted on Maxbashing too. People on there tend to be a little less fussy when it comes to the whole truck thing.

Think the Thunder Tiger MTA4 was exactly the same as the AE MGT:

You are exactly correct. Thunder Tiger bought Associated Electrics in the early 2000s. Sorry, I didn't see your post until now (April 2020).

Anyhoooo, I found a spring at work (engineering) that has so far been coping. Green in colour and square in section. Probably came out the Cromwell catalogue.
