Ebay Tomy

Anyone seen the tomy intruder on ebay?

How much?!

daz75 04-06-2016 11:30 PM

Up to £200 so far

Peakey 05-06-2016 01:04 AM

£750

DanB4 05-06-2016 04:51 AM

It could go for between 750 and 850. I have a NIB EX on the way :)

mporter2000 05-06-2016 06:48 AM

Why waste so much money on a car that had zero success

Surely not that would be madness

Cus there rare as anything and if they were around longer they would of been more understood and done better I think

Depends really who's about and if they want it enough but when was the last intruder for auction on there let alone an EX

There are 2 up on eBay at moment from look if it - a NIB and a built but barely run

Bargain £1000 the guy of rc10talk didn't sell his for less than that on eBay but then again how he expected to sell hundreds of pounds worth of cars with 1 picture God only knows

DanB4 05-06-2016 10:07 AM

The eBay NIB one is the significantly less desirable Adonis basic version.

I have owned around 15 Tomy cars over the last 5 years and the EX is by far the rarest.

It is/was actually a good car in it's day, lack of a top driver and parts support let it down.

I guess it is a waste of money only to those who haven't been lusting after one for years.

I'd put a NIB EX in the same bucket rarity wise as the Yokomo 93wcs but not as rare as a Hirobo Jealousy (almost but not quite ;) )

fidspeed 05-06-2016 10:26 AM

Intruder was my first Rc car in 1990 I think I almost gave it away and bought a cat xls wish I still had it now ( bit like my rs2000 that I scrapped cos it got major tin worm:confused:)

Great thing hindsight !!!
Regards dave

Couldn't afford one back in the day, and can't justify it now. The missus and kids don't need to eat though right?
