Thinking of returning .....

Hello. I used to race at jarrow a few years back and I am thinking of returning. Not bought any kit yet tho. What's the racing like now is it still popular etc.. How many heats do you typically get ? What's the split with 2wd to 4wd. Going to start off 2wd and my girlfriend going to race to :-)

Alright there,

Yeah the racing at our club is very friendly and relaxed.....get yourself a long this Sunday, I'm sure you will recognise a few faces as this club was formerly jarrow/oxclose club.

Best to get advice on the latest kits/electrics before splashing out on new kit ;)

I will be opening up around 5:30-5:45pm area.....track built about 6:30-6:45pm depending on how technical we build the track or how many people help to build it, racing starts pretty much as soon as the track is built and the heat listing goes up so around 7:00pm or before, we normally have 4 heats and a final and run till we finish. ;)

We run both classes 2wd and 4wd but 2wd seems to be the more popular choice....

Hope to see you both there :)

Thanks for the reply. Got a losi 22 lined up with everything but esc all New for a really good deal. That should do the job right ? Need to by a second setup for the gf she keen to race as well. Will likely be a few weeks till I have all the gear. Funds are short with going on holiday at the end of the month.

I would get the GF a losi as well so the spairs are all the same brand , makes it a bit Easyer .

Yes think I will get her a 22 rtr to get her started. Then I can upgrade it later and share parts like you say. Going to be costly setting up 2 cars from scratch....
