Round 1 - Kidderminster - 13th & 14th April 2013
Feel free to talk about Kidderminster National 2013 in here!
Website: http://www.brca-midwest.co.uk/ VENUE LOCATION. At the Oldington Leisure Field, Stourport Road, South of Kidderminster on the A451. Entrance to the track is on the West side of the dual-carriageway. Visitors approaching from the North, will have to proceed past the track, to the end of the dual-carriageway (approx. 1/3 mile) and double back towards Kidderminster. For those with Sat.Nav. the map reference is :- SO 817736 (venue does not have a post code). The entrance to the venue is directly off a dual-carriageway with fast moving cars. Under no circumstance can any vehicle be parked on the side of this road, or in the gateway entrance. The venue is at the end of a sports’ field which is used as a golf driving range. The driving range ground is strictly out of bounds. Preview of the 2wd National track
A photo of the 2wd clockwise (normal direction)layout for Sat is on the club website http://www.kmcclub.co.uk/
The same photo is also on kidderminster model car club facebook page and is a bit clearer to view. In addition if you go back over the last few months on this facebook page you will see the track changes. Digging the drainage and laying the new astro section. Also can try this link below http://s370.photobucket.com/user/ton...9fd45.jpg.html |

Great track layouts, preferred 4wd, weather was so cruel at times but there's nothing that can be done about that!
2wd finals were probably the best I have seen at nationals. Neil Cragg in 4wd finals was absolutely unstoppable! I'm not sure anybody in the world would have challenged him! Loved the drift competition in round 4 aswell by Neil,Bradders and Bloomfield! |
Race report is online :) http://www.oople.com/rc/photos/2013n...kidderminster/
|
results are up
|
I have just put a video of leg 3 of the 4wd A Final on YouTube.
It's a bit dark but better than nothing. I'll try and stand with the sun behind me next time. http://youtu.be/79oVUD0bRgA |
