NO MEETING Tuesday 5th June 2012

UNIVERSAL THREAD FOR ALL TUESDAY NIGHT MEETINGS

Track open from 6.30pm every tuesday for mid week meetings

hi All,

Thinking of popping down to your club this Tuesday and there is a 50% chance that i will be racing, my B4 has an old faithful Novak gtx and 19t spec motor in it  will that be competitive with the general speed of the 2wd class? Or will i have to rob the Tekin RS out of my mi4

I will have to wait until payday before i can buy a brushless combo and maybe even an sv2 or something else with a mid motor :thumbsup

I know its a long shot but do you have handout pt's or does anyone have one i could borrow? I have never needed to buy one before as everywhere i have raced have had handouts. Also do you have any mains power as i dont have a 12v battery to run my gear off. with the current setup in my b4 the lipo should last all night anyway

Thanks in advance and i look forward to seeing you all this Tuesday,
Cheers, Cal

There are varying ranges of ability and car specs so I'm sure your b4 will be fine, especially on your first visit.
not sure if people will have a spare PT but not to worry, we'll put a number on your var and manually count it which is standard practice

Not to worry about having a 12v battery as we have mains power.

Hope to see you down there this week.

Gates won't open before 6.30pm so grab some drink and munchies en route

Think the weather will be kind to us this week. We raced in the damp last week and it was awesome!!

Can you book me in for tonight. I'll be driving 4wd (so long as I get some tyres tonight). Will be there just after 8pm.

ceejay21 10-04-2012 12:26 PM

Yeah it was a pleasant surprise when I woke up this morning and it was sunny and dry. I am just on my way to Apex to get tires, what would you reccomend for running on your astro? Will something like cut staggers and mini pins be ok?

Dr_UpGrade 10-04-2012 01:24 PM

Hi guys,
Don't think I'm going to make this one tonite... Need to save up my 'lifts' for the up-coming summer series on sunday!

Have a good one!

(oh and yes in my opinion, CJ, those should work on our dry astro)

Dudders 17-04-2012 03:24 PM

Will do buddy, 4wd for me as well

feasty33 17-04-2012 04:22 PM

I'll be along tonight as well,
Got the old Losi XXX4 up and running with a 13x2 brushed in it!
TBH it looks quite rapid for a motor that has been in the cupboard for the last 10 years!

See ya'll tonight
Dave

Bit like your street wagon!

See you there David

Racing this week as normal, let's pray for the rain to stop.

However, as Duncan and I saw today, the sand has gone, and although the astro was very wet we only had water spray on our cars, no sand at all. Looks like it's all gone and we've both still got clean cars!

New decoder works fine so we'll all good to go
