CML Raceway feedback

Well as I'm making a load of tracks for this I would quite like some feedback from people on what they thought was good and bad about CML.

Personally I think it was too small and in some of the other tracks I've built the car has been more to scale of an rc car so quite a bit wider as I think CML in it's current size is too much dependant on heavy braking and less fast clean lines.

i think it was awsome! funny how it worked out about same laptime as the real track!! size was not to bad.... maybe a little to close...:) still i think it was about spot on:thumbsup:

Quality-wise your cml track is fab, but driving-wise i much prefer the warmup track.
The cml one is a bit fiddly and stop/starty; something faster, longer, smoother next time please (said the bishop to the actress)..

I like it.
You can try allsorts of different lines to try and get the best lap. There's more than one way to skin a cat.

Just need to be careful in future with setting the checkpoints.

I think it's more like driving an R/C track (for obvious reasons) but just in the way you have to time the jumps, get on the brakes etc - i really like it and think you've done a wicked job of representing the real thing!

Would be great to see other versions of Southport, Bury, Kiddy, Stotfold etc.

WIth the few others i've done the jumps have been purposefully set so that you have to time them and cant just run them over flatout

I was trying it out last night and have to say once I got into it I felt the familiar rythm of the actual CML raceway at times, top job
only thing i would say is i find the doubles after the tabletop/hairpin a little too close to the corner... but it's quite possible those with the 22s laps aren't having any problems?

Some of the other tracks that I've made a bit longer and wider should flow a bit better but I'll see how people react to them as I don't want them to be too easy and just be flat out the entire way around but I don't want them to be too point and squirtish either. Mostly the jumps in the other tracks have been designed so taking them absolutely flat out is rarely the fastest way and taking them at 1/2 ~ 3/4 speed should allow you to hit the down ramp.

Is that the first recorded case of someone jumping back IN the closet? :p

Was just having a little bask on the CML Raceway track and managed to jump my car onto the spectaters, and when you try to drive off a load of blood flys off the tyres as you try to get grip. Didnt realise that this game was so realistic lol :woot:
