Cougar Laydown Lipo Brace 3D printed!

Made my own lipo brace that allows the cells to go further forward then the option part. If anyone wants one - I can print and post one with 2x o-rings for £10 - or collect from me at Batley etc for £8. You will need the hardware (long screws and a lock nut or similar. I just cut some old carbon sheet rot make the clamp as you cannot tighten the nut down onto the plastic printed part really. If you want to supply your own o-rings - I can post you just the brace and lipo post 'stops' for £8 :)

These are printed with 100% material infill - so are as strong as a 3D print can be - basically solid plastic!

Cheers Adam.

If you want one with just holes in - let me know - I did print one for someone as they asked for it as theirs slipped in a 'crash' - happy to post you one with holes just for the cost of postage :)
PM me if you want one :)

Looking at Adam's car and the nice way its all 'prepped' i'd have guessed he's not a 'crasher' :)

Sometimes though shit happens - I hit a parked car on the straight at MB indoors and bent a new YZ2 chassis - so nothing is indestructible if you try hard enough :)

Yeah right! Managed to ram the car into the base of a ramp at Stone tonight!!

Ran the holder tonight and very happy with it, also fitted the square retainers directly behind the Lipo so I could retain a Lipo weight underneath!

Some gear mid-air overtakes too though ;)

Cheers Andy, it seems fairly well clamped down to be fair, but might need to order a wing mount anyway, they look ace!
