sounds like it's one of the top screws deforming the case at the top of the Diff section. Same thing happened to me. Use a shorter screw, and dremel out the deformed area so it clears the diff once...

I wouldn't have a problem with the Kit plastic ones, if you could buy the correct one for your servo in say, a 4 pack instead of buying the one you need and 3 others you toss in teh trash

No it will not fit. The hole in the chassis doe not fit the base of the gearbox, and the screw holes do not line up. best bet is to get an ACRC laydown Gearbox from Shapeways

Take the bottom cover off the servo, file a small notch in it so the servo wire and rubber strain relief can exit rearward. Put servo in car. I use 1251's and have had no problem mounting them this...
