I have never ever heard or seen of any rear hubs breaking. Have you done any? From experience, in a big crash the rear wishbone will go first, but only in a BIG crash, they are certainly not weak.

Yes, if you use Losi ballcups which are longer. Personally id rather go for a longer turnbuckle though and use the pucka Schumacher ballcups which I think are rather good.
