Some of those parts were already used at the euros. The car at the worls seems to be more 'production-ready' but pretty similar design i'd say.

Well, that depends A LOT on the track and driving style. Racing i usually need around 280-290mah per minute and translates into 14-15 minutes with 4200mah shortys :)

Losi bodies fit, although they're wider(they're close to the DNX408 one, which also fits the DEX). I've seen a DEX408 with a Serpent 811e body but it required to move the rear shocks to the back.

That depends on what conversion you're talking about. I know for sure that the DEX will be better, but a converted DNX(at least mine with the italian conversion) works really good.

I disagree, with those you'll get more than 20 minutes very easily. I've made more than 20 minutes with 3S 8000mah and a Castle-Neu 2200Kv(not the best for runtime), racing.

2S for 1/8th buggies...

I'm guessing it's 7.4v min, since the ESC is intended for 2-4S and all the info i could get about it didn't mention anything about external BEC's required.
