Welcome, but take the time to look how others behave
Why not take five minutes to look around the site before you start posting all over the place?
That way you can avoid future mistakes.

Given it is a quality product and a good seller - yes
Buying a second hand ESC is no different from buying a used brushless motor. If the seller has a good reputation and claims the speedo works as it should, then yes. If not, look for such an advert.

There are those that fit without modifying the chassis. Intellect (IP), Team Orion and many others make LiPos in the shape of NiMh batteries. Here is one example of what you should be looking for:...

dibble34 is correct, the 3VC is the stick version of 3PJ. Look for that manual.
The 3VCS is based in the successor, 3PK, which is quite different in terms of menys and features.

If may guess which Hitec servo Lee uses, I would say the Hitec HS-7775MG servo (9 kg/cm, 0.10s).
rcaddict, that is the "replacement" for the Sanwa SDX-801/Airtronics 94746M. Stronger, but slower...

Yes, both KO Propo and Team Orion have low profile servos, as do Hitec and Spektrum. There are several options, do not worry about that.
However, the preferred choice is either Sanwa or Futaba....

The Sanwa SDX-801 is an excellent servo indeed, but some drivers feel that 6.5 kg/cm at 6 V may be on the weak side for a 4WD. Sanwa considers this a touring car servo, but it is strong enough for...

Is your set an AM or FM set?
I would advise against the use of digital servos with a AM system. If you have an AM set I would go for a Futaba S3305.
If it is an FM set, get a used Futaba S9551.

I think it depends on the transmitter.
If it is a Futaba 3PK, KO Propo EX-1/10 or a Sanwa M8/M11 it may feel top heavy and unbalanced if you get LiPos. A stick type transmitter is less affected by the lower weight.
I was about to...
