Jerzi. 3mm will be more than strong enough IMHO, the carbon/Kevlar chassis plate I made up for my Procat is only 2mm and is nice and strong, (although I'm not racing it).

+1 to use cyano after drilling. Depending on the CF you use, it will probably be porous after drilling. Use THIN cyano to 'wick' into the drilled/cut edges to seal them.

Procat Front transmission has x2 T080 'Flanges' fitted. They're just a plastic washer, are these just to keep dirt out of the bearings or do they have some other function?

The only thing standing between me and a finished Procat is the two rear transmission housings T070 and T293. (I need motor mount plates too, but I could make these if no-ones got them to spare)....
