I used a Cat 2000 until recently, with modern cells (4200 IB) and a good brushed system (Orion 10x1) and for me, the weak point of the transmission is the blade system.
You have to check the wear at almost every run to avoid destroying the diff outdrives.
But what a car on astro or carpet !
