Didn't know you were a weather forecaster too Dianne! With all due respect we all have different circumstances and can make our own decisions accordingly whoever it may upset.

Personally, ive got to be sensible, this is only toy car racing, if I blow an ESC it'll be me not racing until 2012 (and miss the Chadderton meetings this winter!! Nooooo ) as I can't afford to throw money away when ive got other more important commitments, such as getting married. So if I see threat of rain on the weather forecast tonight, I won't even waste £30 worth of fuel making the journey in the morning, I'll have a lie-in and watch the F1.... this is looking likely to be honest for me, sorry.

If it is on a hill, and it rains, drainage won't be an issue. What will be a bigger issue is marshal safety. If marshals are falling in the track, its very dangerous.
