So I'm wondering if the components above are the right ones for the job? Or if theres anything I've forgotten?
I do a bit of racing with colleagues on a private work track at 1:10th scale so I'm totally new to 1:8th. I'm hoping that the class will pick up in the UK as theres lots of car's around now.

as for kit here are my suggestions..

Servo - Orion Vortex High Torque Metal Geared Servo
Tyres - Dboots A compound
Spektrum radio systems can be tempermental at times and feel cheap and flimsy, 4PL is in another league IMO
