I heard a rumour that some wind testing was being done on cab forward stuff...early tests showed they make no difference at all to wheel loadings...(and therefore don't add grip or steering!).

Personally...I thought I could feel a difference, and I liked the feel of the cab forward shells when I changed over (despite hating the appearance initially)...but I didn't think it was a front end thing at all...shock towers ruin any airflow over the front of any shell so I really can't see the forward cab doing anything like the claims that are made of them in that area.

I do however think that they could effect the airflow at the rear of the car...and to me cars just feel a little more balanced and stable with cab forward.

Love to spend some time with a wind tunnel and a smoke machine and see it for myself though!
