It's worth remembering that the cobras that were used in competition back in the day were far from standard. Many used traxxas trx1 shocks and Rc10 gearboxes ect. I maybe wrong but I think Steve poles was one of these where pretty much nothing was standard. I don't think it matters. If you have a cobra, just get it on the track any way you can and enjoy it. It's now a rare car and let's be honest even rarer to see one at a race meeting.
