Hi Tony, yes the site is great. Good site layout and design, and the report content is taking shape as this years events take place. Just seen you have the last report on, i'll look forward to reading it later.
Regarding domain names, I do this a lot, so if i can help or offer advice then please message me.
.co.uk (and .org.uk) are the traditional UK domains. .org and .com are American (by and large) and yes much more expensive.
.uk was made available to anyone who owns the .co.uk. you could also register brca10thoffroad.uk for the same price as the .co.uk, should you wish.
.co.uk is fine, it serves the purpose well, and as you say it gets bookmarked or remembered by the web browser now.
