That setup should get you (with stock spur and 14T/15T pinions) about 40mph (14T just under, 15T just over). With that battery, I think 15 mins should be acheivable, if a rx pack is also used. It also depends what sort of driver you are - smooth=longer run times.[/QUOTE]
Definitely wasn't going to bother with a receiver pack tbh, the bec should handle running the receiver and one beefy servo (savox 1256) shouldn't it??
Having said that, are receiver packs pretty cheap? If it helps avoid pitstops could be worth it, you can use a receiver pack even when the esc powers it too?
