With only 6 weeks to first RCCAOI round, I thought I'd stick a bit of info up for the newbies
1. The RCCAOI (Radio Controlled Car Association of Ireland) is the sport's governing body which runs the Irish National Championship each year.
2. This year there is a Modified and a Clubman (10.5 motors or greater) class at each event. It is hoped that everyone will take part.
3. Your overall position will determine whether you are offered an entry for the next Euros/Worlds
4. All of the events in 2011 are scheduled to be held in Griffeen Valley, but it is hoped that as soon as another club is in a position to hold a round of the series that they will.
5. Your performance in the RCCAOI series determines your formula grading for the following year. So if you do well at the nationals, you may find yourself in a faster heat next year.
