I can't speak for the Association, but I don't see why not. I think its very important that the RCCAOI caters for all levels of racers in an effort to increase the pool of knowledge and ultimately make drivers faster.
I would imagine that a 4wd clubman class can only benefit the championship and section.
I will speak to Tony Kavanagh (the RCCAOI 1/10 Offroad rep) and ask him about this, or he may respond directly if he looks at the this thread.
I would suggest that the class is goverened to be most beneficial for the novice racers - maybe the "Stock" spec advanced timing esc's should be banned....?..... otherwise it defeats the spirit of the competition
