That looks very neat Crashtest33! - I think i'll look into doing something similar for my Lazer.

On my old Corally touring car (with Nimh battery slot chassis) I secured the battery down with the usual battery strap but I applied single sided self adhesive foam tape to the u/side of the strap which helps grip the battery pack - then I wrapped glass reinforced tape around each battery post & secured the tape around the side of the battery to stop it from sliding out. Lead weights are stuck to the chassis to locate the inner edge of the battery & stop them from sliding inwards towards the belts etc. This method is cheaper but nowhere near as 'Pro' looking as special made parts!
