Anybody getting to race with as much variation and sheer time driving would improve a he'll of a lot but that doesn't really change the fact that at the moment the overall average pace in Ireland would be relatively low when compared to that of the UK national championship.
A lot of that is down to lack of variation in the driving especially when comparing the style of tracks raced. Racing in fivemiletown is good fun and competitive but the people who've ony driven there would have a massive culture shock when going to different surfaces.
