It did indeed continue to go very well, depsite what some other manufacturuers race reports say (
) Rich TQ'd in round 1, being the only 2wd car to make it through to 16 laps, round 2 he got pipped by Nathan Waters (series and event winner), but Rich did still start second in the A final..
In his own words, he and Nathan were 1 and 2 in the final until he (Rich) "sp**** up" the last lap letting Craig Collinson through into 2nd, so he ended up a close behind 3rd, still a great result for his time with the new car at that venue....
