Last Saturday we saw
ROUND 16 of Hinckleys 2015 Offroad Club Championships!
Another great Weather Forecast allowed a decent Turnout of Racers again, making light work of the Track Build, specially with Master Track Builder Martyn Ross Drawing up a Selection of New Layouts to try!

The usual Format of 4 Qualifying Rounds with your Best 2 to Count was Applied, followed by Finals, making some really Close Competitive Racing allday!
The Hinckley Club was always well Renowned for having a 'Retro' Offroad Heat over the years, with many Guys coming along with Buggies & Trucks from the 70's, 80's & 90's, including lots of the well Detailed Tamiya Vehicles, so it was great to see the Return of some Retro Racers at the Club again, Showing off their Gold/Black Tub Associated RC10's & Schumacher Cougar 2000's! It was Surprising to see just how Competitive these Cars still are today & how much Fun they looked to Drive!

The Wear rate of the Grass & Racers Tyres have generally been very Low this Season, thanks to some extra Seeding & the Inclusion of Astroturf over all the Table Top Ramps, Jumps & Bumpy sections of the Track, so its made the Racing even better than before!
