looking good Ian, and sorry ive not been able to make it up to help. Weekends are not good for me at the moment.

Could i just ask something regarding the surface.....

A little while ago there was the question regarding tyres, and not wanting it to be a case of a new set of rubber each Tuesday and keeping costs down etc. Are the large areas of floorboards yet to be covered with carpet, or are they staying as boarding?

Only reason i ask is on a carpet surface, a set of mini pins will stay quick and grippy until they are practically bald. My last set lasted 4 race days and 2 full 8 hours practice days on carpet. With alot of boarding tyre wear is likely to be high and worn tyres i would imagine will not work so well.

As i say, just a question, not a critisism or such in any way, as im all for multi surface. Just interested in what the final surface is going to be in relation to the idea of keeping costs down
