I've raced electric on and off road before but there were several reasons why I wanted to retain the mechanical brakes on my 1/8th, adjustable bias, reduced load on the esc helps keep temperatures down etc. I think it would have been nice if Losi had offered the option. Still you can't please all the people all of the time as they say.
