I do not want to say which battery configuration works best on which surface, because there are many other variables, including specific lay-out, size of jumps, type of dirt, etc.

Ellis normally runs on U.K astro and grass, and usually uses the T-saddle configuration. Ellis invented it. Paul runs on dirt, from loose dirt outdoors to outdoor blue groove to high traction indoors with slicks to slippery indoors. He almost always runs shorty across the back.

Perhaps they will comment more. With my driving skill, you don't want my opinion.

They big thing is that you have lots of options with X Factory. Plastic or graphite. Stick across the back, shorty across the back, saddle normal, T-saddle. One of them should be right for your track, lay-out, and driving style.
