Lots of parts between the B6 and the B6.1 are the same.


The front end is the same, only difference is the front shock tower, on the B6.1 the inner hole on the tower is one further in compared to the B6.


The difference are at the rear of the car. The gearbox / arms / hubs / drive shafts are difference from the B6 to the B6.1.


The shocks and springs are the same.


A b6 at a good price is a good buy if you are thinking to move to a B6.1 int the future.
