Designed to lock against the chassis to protect the bulkhead as well as arms.
For 2.0 arms the forward plastic 'flutes' on the arms have to be removed."
Just encase someone is searching and is looking for a part to fix the never ending line of broken front pivots on the 22-4 2.0 a model shop in Colorado going by the name MHOR RC Raceway sells a cnc machined alloy alternative which can be found on ebay

http://www.ebay.com/itm/263060345850

alternatively you can search for the "TLR 22-4 & 22-4 2.0 Empire" on facebook you can buy directly from the producer.

Now fair warning, its at a cost $60 before postage, but i've broken 3 of the stock TLR plastic items at £10 a pop and that doesn't include the frustration of having to find a online store that has them in stock. And before anyone says, yes i understand the repercussions of breaking arms instead but they are much cheaper and more readily available
