That is a shame to tie it's biggest feature into having a certain device.... Still I would expect some insane speeds out of the car without use of an iPhone. Realistically how many people are going to be doing 100mph when just out on the car park or street? You would need some serious space to whiz around at 100mph!

Maybe it is like the nissan Gt-R. Uses GPS to cut off the restriction when you get to a track. Might stop you unrestricting it in certain places
