Regarding batteries, I'm not sure what config the SV2 takes. In my cars I run shorties and find that my Turnigy Ultimates are every bit as good as my Orions and £15 a pack cheaper.

That is insane. I just bought 2.

Seriously... 30 quid for a 90c 4600mAh shorty lipo. I remember when a good set of 3000 NiMh would cost over twice that!
