You can use the force of the motor and the weight of the wheel rotation to balance the car in the air. Like when you hold onto a motor whilst not mounted in the car and hit full throttle, the motor almost twists out of your hand - acts the same way in the car.
3 gear is no good... 4 gear is the future!
Its the reason why the new Losi 22 comes with 2 different gearboxes depending on whether you're running rear motor or mid motor - one is 3 gear and one is 4 gear!
