I did the 630 ball bearing suspension mod just as suggested in Jimmy's review which really helped free up the front suspension. I had some extra Tamiya TL-01 hingepins lying around so while I had everything open, I did some quick measurements and found them just a tiny bit longer than the stock GB-02 suspension pins, so I used them to get a bit more camber and width on the buggy.


The time has come, I'm going to try these little mods to my own GB-02.

So, I have to ask, was it the Tamiya 630 bearings you used? I couldn't find a dimension for those. are they 3X6X2.5mm?

I think I'll hold off on the Hitec metal gear servo for a bit though... at least until I decide to try out some larger "Sedan" wheels or something like that....
