You need a different shaft to fit the Avid Slipper to the Tamiya gearbox. It will not fit the standard shaft......
But as moggers stated I fitted Associated pads to all my TRF 2wd buggies with no issues and very consistent throughout the run. I fitted the yellow/orange coloured pads.
