I see what you mean
If I go by what I think is realistic, Durango will focus on development and updated releases of it's current cars for at least the next 12 months (even more so considering the Worlds are again next year).
From there... they'll probably have a look where there is room to do progressive stuff on competition cars (like there was with 2WD and 4WD). I find touring cars fitting to their statement 'Serious About Racing,' but I'm not sure whether a very different design would 'work' (in that market) - and I don't see Durango putting a car into production that's just the same as anybody else's.
Still though, I think Durango's next new market would be something onroad...
