(on a side note, i was just thinking maybe the 501X piston rods are more suitable to be used on the DB01. not only will it prevent the rear drive shafts from popping, you know what happen if you are using the cvd, and the other good thing is that you don't have to use any o-rings)

When I had a DB01, I was running about 1mm in every shock with the standard 501 shafts. Seemed just right to me. Bearing in mind that the DB01 towers mount the shocks about 4mm lower than the TRF towers do, it sort of matches up with the droop your would get having the long shafts on a 501.
