Anyone remember how to...
Program an old Laser esc?

Does it have any potentiometer pots on it?
I've got 3 Laser's and just resurrected them. The two forwards both had three pots you rotate with a little screw driver. One for neutral, one for high point, and if the ESC had one for torque limiter. Can't see any in the image you've put though... |

Hiya KRob,
Yes it does, it has 2 blue pots sitting just underneath where the wires are. I've put power through it and it seems to go from 0-full power almost instantaneously. So you reckon I need to be adjusting the pots? |

Yep, one of those should control the neutral. You'll just have to twiddle them and see what happens
From my experience they are normally quite a fine adjustment so just get it into the right area then fine tune. I would expect the other to do top end and again it's just fiddling with it to get it right, and with no LED's you'll have to do it by ear |

Hiya KRob,
Well I had a twiddle with the pots. Found the one on the outside corner adjusts the top end and the other one seemingly does nothing It's still stuck on full throttle. It also feels like it isn't even recognising that there is a controller there. Think I might try plugging it into a retro receiver. :shrughs: |
