Default F classifications and entering big events

Im fairly new to buggies, done few club rounds and local indoor series

been looking at events for next year but the entry form asks F classification, I dont have one

am I automatically F5

or do I have to do a meeting to gain my class, and is that then valid from that meeting onwards or do I have to wait till the follwoing year?

Ok thanks.
So on entry forms that ask, I simply select F5.

Much appreciated

Yes just put F5 and you'll soon find your feet from there.
