Default which electrics for losi 22 at maritime racing

Hi guys. I'm about to buy my 22 for use at the new maritime racing off road track. The rules state an open motor limit. I'm used to nitros and I'm not really sure what size motor to go for at what is going to be a largely carpet venue. Can anyone make any suggestions? I wad thinking about the hobbywing extreme stock 10.5 system andramping up the boost etc. But I'm not sure if this will be enough if other people are running 6.5 etc. Any help appreciated

I would start with an 8.5 motor with no ramped up timing, or maybe a 7.5. Should be more than enough really.

Any suggestions on which esc and motor?
I like the hobbywing gear.
Let's say ill go for 7.5
So an esc for the motor with good programmability and boosting etc. If it can use their programming card even better as I don't have a laptop I can take with me
