hey
have being looking around on the site and im thinking of getting new car and im thinking
a) 501x
b) wait for d4

depends how quickly you need it, how well each manufacturer is supported where you live and whether you prefer belt or shaft drive.

in terms of performance i doubt there will be much in it, just like all the top cars if set up well.

ok thanks i dont think the big hobby shop over here have any plan for d4 even tho tc sales like cazy

i live in new zealand the whole rc thing is not that big

Both cars are similar in terms of suspension and weight distribution, obviously one is shaft and one is belt drive. The D4 is an unknown beast right now, though the price might be significantly less than the 501X - it remains to be seen. The 501X is hardly a proven winner as its also very new, but its a strong and well thought out car.
If your local shop sells HPI then I would imagine they will do the D4? HPI/HB seem eager to push this line, or at least it seems so.

yea so the d4 is meant to be very good $$$ would it be any think around around $465USD

p.s and the d4 dont have everyonr got bule bits on there cars lol
