Default First race meeting of 2010

Only a few days now before we start racing again and it's our first meeting of 2010. Friday 8 January - normal time at 7pm-10pm and normal place: The Village Hall in Bromham.

We'll be running 1:10 Touring cars and the new class for 2010 1:18 buggies/trucks.

We've had some new members sign up online at our web site so we hope to have some new faces in 2010 as well as all the normal crowd.

The club has plenty of Personal Transponders for sale as we shall be running the ILapRC lap counting system this week for the first time too. Guests can hire them for just £2 on the night.

Please note that due to existing booking, our second meeting of the year is the following Monday 11 Jan, not Friday. This second meeting will be a setup night for you all to prepare for Friday 22 January which sees the start of the Winter Championships for both Touring cars and the 1:18th buggies/trucks. You'll still have to pay for racing on the setup night and you'll have all evening to fine tune your cars to track 10 which will be used for this championship.Take a look here...

Here's to a great 2010 of racing

Just to let you know that if the weather holds out we shall be racing this Friday. I know that there is a lot of snow around and the forecast is for more, but if the roads are clear then we shall still be racing this Friday.

Just take it steady when driving to and from the club, thanks.
