Default Best budget 1/8th combo?

Can anyone advise what is currently thought to be the best low budget choice for a buggy?

I am thinkng about trying 1/8th scale electric, but only if I can get running for a sensible price, otherwise I will stick with what I have for now (1/10th scale electric and 1/8th scale nitro)

This does look good. does anyone have any experience with it. Is it likely to be durable?

if you run 4 cells you will be fine on the ESC's they are sensored/sensorless which for £60 is good but they are HHHuuuugggeeee

The HobbyWing XeRun combo is alot better than the EZrun. You can buy that for $200 at HiModel.com.

I have only just got it and set it up only tested it outside and i turned down the timing to stop the cogging as it said and by you can tell why they are cheap cogging isnt the word jerk riping the steel spur to bits etc . dont buy 1 the not worth it pay the extra cash you pay for what you get lol

I would buy a mamba combo or a ezrun combo but be aware that the motors only take 4s and not 6s as the motor get too hot and burn out . Or buy the tekin rx8 combo best sytem you can buy, but its a nice price at £295 from the uk but if you ship it ,its alot cheaper lol

i wouldnt run 4s on all mamba combos :-o else you will be seeing smoke, the 6900kvs can only take 2s and the 5700kvs can only take 3s,

the the xerun are built to run sensored so its gonna cog running in sensorless. all sensorless do it thou some more noticable that others,

and 1/10 mamba 5700kv only take 2s lol they dont take 3s.l, and the 5700kvs can only take 3s sorry your wrong 5700kv only take 2s max lol
