Default Strange requests?

Anyone else been getting strange messages? I have received a couple from people asking about cars that I'm selling even tho I'm not. They have only just joined the forum and have no posts.

They also supply their phone number to speak personally which is weird.

It sounds a bit dodgy to me and looks like it could be people trying more scamming. I hope I'm wrong tho.

Dave

Might be one of those high cost phone numbers. Check them out with BT.

Hi mate, what usernames do these have? There are occasionally spammers join and never post (they use their signature as a form of spam - to get google ranks) But I've not heard of this before at all - ever!

Let me know mate and I will look into it right away.

Jimmy

I've banned his user - it looks like he's contacted three people - I've emailed him to ask him what he's all about and if he replies with an explanation then fair enough. But as a precaution I've banned him.

could be a way of getting photos of stuff so when they do a scam they send better pics, does sound a bit suspect to me
