YZ-2 / BMax2 Interchangeable parts
Does anyone know whether (m)any of the parts for these cars are interchangeable?
I currently run a Bmax2 and have a good stock of parts. I quite fancy a YZ2 but would rather not start having to stock up on a new range of spares. Wishbones, diffs, gears etc - are any of these the same does anyone know?

There are not too many B2 parts in the manual, but I guess you couls use some of the suspension parts and the slipper assembly; the diff has been confirmed by Lee Martin on facebook.

Check the manual. It's easy to do.

good point, although I presume that some items where they now have black anodising will have a different part number to the blue anodised parts? this makes it hard to see if they are a different part or just a different colour? But I am no expert

That's correct. Some parts are now anodized black, but are probably backwards (i'll try it out) compatible with the B-Max2. I will try once I build my kit.

I don't see much.
Diffs, drive shafts, shocks tops, turnbuckles, ball cups and ball studs, slipper assembly, spur, topshaft and hinge pins. |
