Default Import costs from Japan.

Hi all.

Has anyone order much from over seas. I'm looking to get some bits from banzai rc in Japan but wasn't sure on the import tax and how much it is. Anyone had any experience or any idea on how much it is.

Cheers

if you get clobbered properly then from my experience its about 20-25% and likely an £8 charge for customs handling etc with royal mail

you may get lucky and it sail through with no charges

if it comes by post then its usually ok, if you have it sent by courier then you get hit

I ordered from hobbyking china, small package and UPS shipping was only small amount more, goods were about £12

got a bill of £18 from UPS LOL

If you can persuade the sender to put lesser costs on the packaging such as $35 then zero costs
