Mi3.5 diff issues
Hi, I have just picked up a Mi3.5 off the bay, it needed some work and is running now. However, usually in less than one battery the diff ends up slipping and I have to tighten it to go again, which is a real pain. Not sure why this keeps happening, any ideas why and how to rectify this? cheers

cant quite remember if its applicable to mi 3.5 or not
but if there is a locking screw in one side of diff take out and replac with 3mm grub screw set diff as "manual" then lock with grubscrew" if its not applicable to your diff ill have to rethink !! regards dave |

I'd replace the conical washers and the e clip. Make sure the conical washers are in the correct order when you rebuild the diff and the e clip is firmly in the groove. Check the diff balls are still ok and sand the diff rings ever so slightly to give a better key. You may have already done this? It's all I can think of at the moment. Hope you get it sorted.
