Default SANWA RX-481 plugs really tight fit???

I'm new to sanwa, and i'm struggling to get the servo and esc plugs to fit into the RX.
Is there a common fix for this? so far i've been having to slightly taper the plugs with a blade to get them to fit, but i'm worried about bursting the RX housing, as the plugs are really really tight!

Yeah. I've recently switched to sanwa and found the same.
So far I've just pushed em in.
No issues so far. Except they are really tight........

Yeh, i've found that it really restricts where you can put the RX, as you need to be able to really get to it, and even get a screwdriver to it to prise the bloomin plugs out when you want to program the ESC or whatever.
I've ended up getting some extension cables so that I can leave them plugged in to the RX, but give me the ability to reprogram the ESC without risking tearing the wires out of the top of the plug!

Default RX481

HI
Yes they are REALLY fiddly I have managed to pull the wire out of the plug on my transponder when trying to switch it over quickly.

I have now just put a small piece of heatshrink over the end of the plastic part of the plug and going onto the wires, so the little bit you can manage to grab of the wire when pulled it is actually pulling the plug and not so much on the wire.

It's great not having an aerial but something had to give

LMAO

You think all radio manufacturers would get together and design everything the same
