I know it's early days but as I've not run my XB4 yet, I'm looking to find out by those who have what the early signs of breakages are.
What's failing if anything? Need some clues of what spares to hold. Regards Dave

Check RCTech.net, people also reported broken shocktowers and diff gears apart from broken bulkhead cases

Those breakage make me think twice, I'm looking forward to some friends feedback.
I'm a total expert at breaking cars at the rear inner links plate/tower. On my first Vega I used only the lower outer hole on rear tower and broke some (bad landings among others). I used a two part epoxy (Araldite) and filled the others holes with it and never broke any at this spot again. Sanding carbon edges helps too as a rounded edge have less chance of getting caught on the astro/carpet, etc. Gluing the edge is nice too but very time consuming. |
