Dry super slick astro tyres
Hi guys and girls,
Whats everyones opinion on best tyres for this surface. We run on a regular astro track however for some reason it is really slippery. Lots of little rubber beads in it and a bit sandy. Most run mini spikes but im not convinced.. i hear the same complaints ”no grip, man its slippery etc etc”.. we cant get so many types of tyres here so I’d like to narrow it down on a tread pattern if you all can help! Really appreciated!! |

Have you tried Proline Pinpoints z3 compound work a treat at Bury on Astro wet or dry and after the Astro was jetwashed some sand came through they still worked great, trim fronts to suit usually a couple of rows inside and out for 4wd fronts, cut stagger yellow fronts for 2wd

Used some of them pin points on my KC at the Bury bank holiday meet and pulled a wheel off the line in the wet lol.
Really caught me by surprise the amount of rear grip I got.
